However, there are few best practices which customer adopts to make their bank master design consistent with the industry. This is a customer dependent master data which differ for each client. It's correctness ensures that vendor payments are processed without any issues in SAP. It is a master data which contains information about particular bank branch and is used to uniquely identify the bank in SAP.
